On Sunday January 15, 2012, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) held its
annual Golden Globe award ceremony. The HFPA is a non-profit organization that has donated
more than twelve million dollars to fund scholarships and other programs and charities for
incoming television and film experts. The Golden Globes are held every January to recognize talent in the entertainment field.
