Batman has been a story told throughout generations. The legend has recently been continued through the film, “The Dark Knight Rises.” At the start of the movie, Bruce Wayne is still staying away from being Batman. He was blamed for Harvey Dent’s crimes eight years earlier, and therefore had to stay out of sight. A new criminal arises, however, and causes chaos in Gotham City. The foe is a masked man called Bane. Bane is a strong and powerful man, and proves too much for the citizens of Gotham to handle on their own. Though Bruce Wayne is still hated by the city, he decides to once again wear the Batman suit and save the day.
Little does Batman know, he has not one, but two criminals to catch. A stealthy and mysterious woman, who dresses as a Cat Woman, robs and kills many people, but in the end may not turn out to be as bad as presumed. Through the help of surprising allies, Batman tries to save Gotham City once again.
The actor behind the hero was Christian Bale. His performance was well done, portraying Bruce Wayne as a brooding and reserved man, who also takes a great pride in his city. Along with skilled and convincing actors, the effects were extraordinary. Batman’s flying vehicle, car chases, and even the city itself were just a few of the impressive parts of the film. The movie is continuously suspenseful, especially with the help of the soundtrack. This film is a movie full of twists and turns, a surprising ending, and is an excellent and entertaining way to end the Batman series. “The Dark Knight Rises” deserves a round of applause.
