Fall 2014 and Winter 2015 TV Shows You Don’t Want to Miss!

As fall comes around, the weather gets colder and leaves start to fall. Many shows return for their second, third, or fourth seasons, but the most importantly, many new television shows premier. A new Fox series premiering September 17th, Red Band Society, features a group of young adults who bond over one common circumstance: they all are sick patients living in a hospital. Also airing on Fox, Mulaney, a new series debuting October 5th, is about a young stand up comedian trying to make it big.

ABC has four new shows all airing in late September, including How to Get Away With Murder, Selfie, Black-ish, and Forever. How to Get Away with Murder will be about a professor who teaches a group of law students on how to get away with murder. When five of her students need her help to apply those ideas to real life, it becomes a tough situation. Selfie is the story of a “famous” social media girl who tries to discover who her true friends are. Black-ish follows a real-life family through their good times and bad. Lastly, Forever is the tale of an immortal doctor who tries to solve death mysteries that are hundreds of years old.

NBC is airing two shows in early October, including Bad Judge, a series about a California Judge with a different way of doing things, and Marry Me, a show about a couple who can’t seem to find the perfect time to get engaged.

On September 30th, MTV will be screening Happyland, a show that goes behind-the-scenes of a famous theme park. Another MTV show to be on TV soon is Slednecks, a reality show following a group of young adults in Wasilla, Alaska, living their lives. “I’m super excited for all of the new TV shows, especially Red Band Society,” said freshman Sarah Kunkle As school gets back into session while all of these television shows air, many students will prepare to balance their school lives along with all of the intriguing new television shows to air on Fox, ABC, NBC, and MTV.
