Royal Family Tour in Canada

On September 24th, 2016 the Royal Family, consisting of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children began their week long tour of Canada. This will be the second time the couple has traveled to the country, but the first time bringing their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. This is the first time the sixteen month old princess will make a debut in public since her birth in May of 2015. The family touched down in Victoria, British Columbia with a packed schedule of more than 30 engagements which included a trip to the the majestic Great Bear Rainforest, a visit to the immigration Services Society to meet Syrian refugees, taking a float plane, a canoe and even fishing. Before the trip commenced, a spokesperson for the family commented “It will give The Duke and Duchess a chance to say hello to the people of Canada just hours after touching down in the country.”

Senior McKenzie Conner says “I think it was pretty interesting to watch because it was the first time I saw the kids grown. I remember them being so little and now they’re walking and talking”. While attending a kid friendly party, one guest there said, “George and Charlotte were just like any other kids. They had the same temperament and the same willingness and openness to meet everyone.” McKenzie says “Seeing them act as normal kids is actually pretty amazing. They are next in line for a throne, but yet they are just as silly and energetic as any other kid”. The Royal family concluded their Canadian tour on the first of October, and boarded a flight back home to England. McKenzie says “I really enjoyed watching everything happen”.
