Music on Spotify

Spotify is an application that allows people to listen to music without purchasing songs or albums. Since the app was released in 2008, it has become extremely popular around the world, especially among teens. Listeners can browse through new releases and the top songs, but they also can search for specific songs and albums. The app is available on phones, tablets, and computers. People can access Spotify for free, but they need to have a wireless connection to do so, and advertisements play between every few songs. However, listeners can upgrade to the ad-free Spotify Premium, which has a monthly fee, but does not require an Internet connection.

I use Spotify for free, and although the ads can be somewhat annoying, I really like the app and I don’t plan on upgrading. Although I can’t use Spotify Free while in the car because there is no WiFi, I can use it both at school and at home, where I am most likely to use it. Listening to music on Spotify helps me to de-stress while doing my homework. I love to listen to movie soundtracks and scores as well as throwback songs. Spotify is easy to use and has music of nearly all genres. I would recommend Spotify to anyone who loves music!
