Volleyball at Padua

As everybody in the community now knows, Padua Academy Volleyball won  first place at the state championship!  To make this even more amazing the girls also finished the season undefeated. Coach DiSabatino and she says that she is so proud of all of her players; she always knew that her team could do it again and defend their state championship title.

If you ask Coach D or any of the players, they will all say that the journey was not easy. They had to work hard each and every day, and had to come together as a team very often. The girls were at practice just about every day of the week and they all had to work very hard emotionally, physically, and mentally. All of this dedication helped them to stay positive throughout the season. It was also able to help them through anything that went wrong this season. When the team is down, all the girls just come together as a team during a timeout and tell a joke, pray, and breathe.

Before each game,  the girls are play a fun game that has nothing to do with volleyball and pray. Praying is said that it can make a world of difference and help anybody to relax. With hard work, dedication, practice, positively and prayer the girls knew anything was possible and accomplished their dream!
