On Tuesday May 13, Padua’s seniors were recognized for their devotion and leadership towards Padua Athletics. The event took place in the school cafetorium and noticed the athletes on varsity athletics. All of the student’s coaches came to the event to support and say their farewell to their senior players.

Not only were the athletes acknowledged, but also the parents of the athletes were. Without the parents hard work and support, the athletes would not be where they are at today. The parents are the ones who organized how their daughter would get to and from games and practices, and also the ones who motivated them. No matter if it was a win or lose, the parents were always encouraging towards their child and the team. Everyone, parents, seniors and coaches, enjoyed a delicious dinner together.
