Pia Singh is a fun-loving, considerate, and understanding girl here at Padua. Pia is a junior, 17 years old, and an only child. She lives with her mom and dad and she says “I couldn’t live without them. They’re helpful through stressful times and they’re supportive in difficult.” On Friday, March 11, I had the opportunity to interview Pia Singh. I asked her five random questions. She answered these to the best of her ability and shared her truth about each. These were her responses that she came up with!

1.Out of all the seasons, which one is your favorite season and why? What do you like most about that season?

Answer: My favorite season is summer. I like summer because the days are long, so one can go out and have fun. I also absolutely love going to the beach and the pool.

2. If you could live with one person for the rest of your life, who would it be, and why?

Answer:  If I could live with one person for the rest of my life, it would probably be my cousin because we have so much in common. She is a little bit older than me, but I feel like I could talk to her about anything.

3. Choosing between being deaf or blind, would you rather be born deaf or born blind and explain why?

Answer:  I would rather be deaf because being deaf doesn’t mean that you can’t communicate with others. It means that you can’t hear everything going on around you. Being blind would mean that you wouldn’t be able to see the things around you. I prefer to see what’s around me and not be able to hear anything.

4. If you could pick one color for the whole world to be, what color would you choose, pink, purple, or white? And what color would you not want the world to be green, blue, or orange?

Answer: I would pick the color pink. I have loved the color pink my whole life and I can’t imagine a life without that color. The color pink has so much more to it. It’s a happy color and can make your day much better. A color that I would never want the world to be is orange. I just don’t personally like the color orange.

5. Would you rather go to the Bahamas for a week or go to Hawaii for a whole month?

Answer: That’s hard. I prefer to go to the Bahamas for a week because I know I would make every minute and day I spend there count. Where as, if I were to go to Hawaii for a full month, I feel like I would run out of things to do. I mean, yes, everyone likes the beach but I personally get sick of being in one place for too long.
