In May, Padua Big and Little Sisters met for their final get together of the year for the Legacy Ceremony in the cafe. The Legacy Ceremony is an annual event that is run by the Big Sister/Little Sister organizers, Mrs. Burris and Mrs. Bilbao. This ceremony celebrated the year that the girls spent with each other, and at the ceremony, the freshman and senior sisters watched a short video displaying some of the best moments over the past year. The girls also exchanged gifts including magnets from the seniors and treats from the freshman. The girls shared loads of laughs, sweet treats, and memories that will last a lifetime. Over the past year, the students have done many activities together including a hayride, celebrating Thanksgiving together, and also sharing tea with each other after school. “I had fun doing all of the activities with my big sister this year,” said Maggie Pryor ‘20. Maggie said, “The hayride was definitely my favorite activity of this year with my big sister because we got to spend quality time together.” Maggie continues, “I thought yesterday was a little short, but I enjoyed the treats they had for us.”
