Padua Competes in Academic Bowl Final

On February 1, 2018, Padua’s Academic Bowl team attended the final competition at St. Elizabeth High School, placing fourth overall. The team enjoyed a close match against Archmere, scoring 120 to 140. On Padua’s team, Zehra Mahmud, Christa Mumley, Kayleigh Glavin, Gina Rufo, Sam Watkins, Heather Banas, Ellen Banker, Karlee Neuser, and me, Stella White, played, swapping out players each round.
Academic Bowl competitions may have ended for this academic year, but the team plans to get together throughout the remainder of the school year to hold trivia and general knowledge meetings and volunteer to help get younger students into quizzing.
