Padua Pedometer Challenge

Mrs. G’s APS Group wanted to take on the challenge of adding more activity into the daily lives of students at Padua. Partnering with St. Francis Hospital to get the entire Padua community custom-made, free pedometers, the group came up with a contest that students will compete against each other to see who can get the most steps in order to win a $75 massage gift certificate (first, second, and third place) or a bib at the St. Francis 5k Run/Walk in June (fourth, fifth, and sixth place). Each student, whether they place on the leaderboard or not, is encouraged to walk for 30-60 minutes each day for 21 days.
