Interact Club, a service activity organized for Padua students, recently partook in the Salvation Army’s “Red Kettle” program by ringing bells outside a local Acme. Kelly Gallagher (‘13), Ashlyn Imburgia (‘13), Jordan Bennett (‘12), and Patricia Barton (‘12) were accompanied by Mrs. Jean Piziak and Ms. Mary Lammert as they braved the cold December weather to spread Christmas cheer and collect donations for a good cause. The girls enthusiastically greeted passing customers by wishing them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year while collecting money to aid needy families, senior citizens, and the homeless. Many customers appreciated the girls’ effort and thanked them for taking time out of their schedules to contribute to this important cause.
