Padua Academy recently held their second annual tryouts for their competitive cheerleading squad. On April 20th through the 22nd, girls ranging from incoming freshman to the next year’s seniors were invited to try out for the 2012- 2013 Padua cheerleading team. On the first two days of the tryouts, girls learned how to do basic cheers, dances and other skills needed for the sport. On the Sunday, the 22nd, the girls had physically tryouts, during which they performed what they had learned over the previous two days of tryouts. The girls that will be part of the squad are privileged enough to be able to cheer for all the Salesianum home football games, compete in competitions, and become part of a family.
