Cheer Champs

On February 9, the Padua Cheerleading team contended in their second competition at Dover High School. There were many fierce competitors, but the team’s “sisterhood and the bonds,” noted senior Carmella C., definitely set them apart from the rest. All of their hard work and desire this season paid off when they won the first place title! This is the cheerleading squad’s consecutive win and is well- deserved.

Carmella is captain of the 2014 squad and also included, “It feels great inside to see how much our hard work has paid off as a team to show people we are in it to win it and will not give up.” The squad’s hard work absolutely did show, and each girl’s effort shined through. The girls’ plan is to stay on top for their next competition. Padua’s students, teachers, and faculty are extremely proud for the team’s reflection of Padua and for doing such an unbelievable job during their second competition of the year.
