Unhealthy Eating Is Expensive

Doctors tell their patients to eat healthy all the time; however, are they aware at the cost of eating healthy? 61% of American adults are obese. Many people believe that just going to McDonalds will be so much cheaper. But will it be cheaper in the long run? The answer to that is simply, no. Eating fast food is not healthy, nor attractive. Fast food ruins a body. Though the process may not be occurring when sitting in McDonalds or Wendy’s one night, overtime it can take a real toll on a person’s body.

Everyone knows healthy eating is better for them, but the cost gets out of hand sometimes. It is so easy to be stressed and exhausted from a long day of work. Instead of cooking, often times people choose to have someone else cook the meal – McDonalds. The main problem with eating healthy is that the foods have to be fresh, which many times it goes bad quickly.

Being fit is becoming more and more popular, however, being fit isn’t all about just exercising. A key factor in being healthy is the healthy eating lifestyle and taking supplements for men and women.

Eating healthy can prevent the following:

  • Obesity

  • Certain cancers

Mrs. G said, “eating healthy shouldn’t be a chore….it’s a habit, a way of life.” Being healthy is a choice that has to be made during younger years because choices people make now will last a lifetime. If someone is raised with eating unhealthy, they will begin to see that as a habit.
