‘Riverdale’ Season 1 Recap

The CW’s hit show ‘Riverdale’ premiered on TV January 26, 2017. After gathering information from multiple websites, below is a summary of each episode, so you can catch up before the season 2 premiere, which is October 11, 2017.

“Our story is about a town, a small town, and the people who live in the town. From a distance, it presents itself like so many other small towns all over the world: safe, decent, innocent. Get closer though, and you start seeing the shadows underneath. The name of our town is Riverdale. And our story begins, I guess, with what the Blossom twins did this summer … “

The story seems over, but it isn’t yet. “What I am most looking forward to about season 2 is what the future will hold for Polly and her relationship with the Blossom twins”, Padua Junior, Sydney Kane says. “What I liked most about ‘Riverdale’ is that it portrays an interesting mystery of who killed Jason Blossom, but I found it somewhat confusing trying to keep track of all the clues. I highly recommend anyone to watch ‘Riverdale’, especially teenagers who like mysteries and drama,” Kane adds.

Sophomore Julia Wood quotes, “I like that ‘Riverdale’ is mysterious because, to me, it keeps the show interesting. I don’t like that ‘Riverdale’ adds in relationship that don’t need to be added in.”  “I would recommend this show to people because I am a big fan of it, and I think a lot of people in high school would appreciate it” Wood adds.  Another sophomore, Maria Smith, says “the suspense and mystery is what kept me watching ‘Riverdale’, but I don’t like how the relationships moved too fast. I would still recommend this show to anyone, because you will fall in love with the suspense and characters.”
