Students have their last day marked in the planners

As the 2016-2017 quickly draws to an end, many Padua students are already preparing for their last day of classes. Seniors especially are eagerly waiting for Closing Liturgy, with graduation closely following. “It’s such a different experience finally being the senior class in the last few weeks”, says Senior Natalie N. Seniors last day of classes is on May 19th, and officially graduate Padua on June 1st. However, before the school year ends, Padua still has many activities planned for students.

May holds many activities for students such as junior and senior prom, as well as academic challenges such as the AP exams. “AP exams were a little bit of a struggle, but now the worst is behind us so now we can just look forward”, says Natalie N. Freshmen and seniors have their last Big Sister Little Sister activity scheduled for May 16th, where the seniors will leave their legacy with their freshmen little sisters. The seniors will take one final trip together to Washington, D.C on May 18th, and explore Independance Mall. “I’m really excited to spend the last few weeks of my senior year with my friends and other classmates”, says Natalie N. “It’s a great conclusion to this chapter of our lives”.
