Kim Jong-un (North Korea)

The supreme leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un is widely considered to be one of the most dangerous world leaders currently in power.  His father and grandfather both led North Korea before him. He has pushed relentlessly for the development of North Korea’s nuclear weaponry and missile program, and has encouraged a military-oriented nation with stockpiles of defense, even as his people are often short of food. Missile tests continue to be carried out and are progressively reaching longer distances, and Kim has been implicated in the murder of his half-brother, showing his capability as a ruthless leader. Internally, human rights issues have surrounded his leadership, with the UN declaring North Korea as a violator of human rights. Sanctions have been placed on the country by the United States, and Kim Jong-un has continued to put out inflammatory speech. Donald Trump has struggled to maintain a controlled relationship with North Korea, with the two leaders throwing fiery insults at each other without much substantial hope for improvement.
