Elf

Senior Allison Farrell chose Elf, one of the most popular Christmas movies over the past few years, as her favorite movie. She says, “Elf is probably my favorite Christmas movie because it really spreads the Christmas spirit; the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.”

Thirty years ago, Buddy (Will Ferrell), an orphan, crawled into Santa’s sack and headed to the North Pole. Now, as an adult human raised by elves, Santa allows him to go into New York City to find his real father, Walter Hobbs. Hobbs is on the naughty list, completely unaware that he even had a son. Once the two are reconnected, their relationship begins to interfere with Hobbs’ work, and Buddy’s younger step-brother, Michael, is compelled to be the connecting force between them.
