Unaccompanied Minors

Senior Julianna Cann chose Unaccompanied Minors, a more unique movie, as her favorite. She says, “It’s such an unconventional movie, which makes it great. The kids are so good and it’s not just your typical Santa movie; they’re just kids trying to get through the holidays and make friends along the way.”

The children of divorced parents are flying to see their dad for the holidays — all the way from California to Pennsylvania. However, during their layover in Chicago, a massive blizzard hits and cancels all incoming and outgoing flights from the airport. The two are then brought to the room for unaccompanied minors, where they meet other children that are flying alone for Christmas. There was no Christmas spirit in any part of the airport, so the kids escape the room to try to find a way to spread cheer around the airport.
