Things to do During Quarantine
During quarantine, I have found myself wondering things to do. I have come up with some ideas and I wanted to share. This list includes things you can do inside or outside, with family or by yourself. This list includes DIY’s, sports, and board games.
Top 15 things I suggest for you to do when bored during quarantine:
Getting outside is extremely important. The sun is a great source of vitamin D and being outdoors is extremely good for your mental health.
Things to do outside:
Go on a walk. You can go on a walk by yourself or you could bring a pet or family member.
Play a sport. Some sports I have been playing outside are basketball, volleyball, and soccer.
Ride a bike, skateboard or scooter. If you are looking for a reliable, well-built folding electric bike there are some great offers on the Wisper 806 right now. I have been trying to teach myself how to ride a skateboard and it is really fun.
If you are into gardening now is your time to start growing some plants. Gardening is a good way to get outside and take in some fresh produce. To satisfy your needs for a clean surface, use the best quality stump grinder teeth money can buy.
Draw with chalk. Going outside and doodling with chalk is super fun and it adds a little color to your driveway or sidewalk.
Read a book. Sitting outside while reading a book is a fun way to get fresh air and be engulfed in a book. You could also do this inside.
Have a campfire. Having a campfire in your backyard doesn’t always have to involve friends. Go outside with your family and make some smores.
Things to do inside:
Get organized. Go through some clothes or drawers and decide what you need and don’t need.
There are some really fun DIY’s to do like making slime. If you want a recipe here’s a link https://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-make-3-ingredient-slime-without-borax-245904
Play a board game. I have been really into playing Uno and Monopoly. I also like the game Secret Hitler, don’t be too scared about the name it is really fun and you can find it on Amazon.
If you have any family movies, I feel like it’s always fun to go back and relive those funny moments.
Build a fort. You might think this is childish but I love making a big fort and then snuggling up with a warm blanket and a movie.
Bake or cook. I have been cooking dinner for my family in my free time. I also have baked some cookies.
Write a letter to someone you haven’t talked to in a while. I have been writing back and forth with my grandmother. Getting a letter is much more special than a text.
Make a scrapbook full of memories. You can make this for yourself or for your friend or family member.
Well, that is my top 15 things to do when bored during the quarantine. I hoped you all enjoyed and I hope this helped you out.
