Fall Fun

Fall+Fun

Fall is here and back in full swing with lots of fun activities.  Even on cold October nights there’s still plenty of things to do!  Some popular destinations of the season are haunted houses and orchards.

Frightland, in Middletown DE, seems to be the most favored scary destination. It was named one of the scariest Halloween attractions in America. When going with a group, tickets cost about $30.   Which isn’t bad for all of the terrifying entertainment they offer.  Claire Bisson (‘18) went to Frightland last weekend and said “It was so much fun! The haunted house was really scary but it was totally worth it.” With over eight haunted attractions, such as haunted hayrides, haunted houses and barns, and a zombie ghost town, it’s sure to be a scary fun time!

Going to a pumpkin patch or apple picking are other great ways to spend time outside in the brisk, fall air.  Local orchard, Linvilla, is a great place to go with friends and family.  They offer hayrides daily and open their pumpkin patches all throughout the season.  They also sell delicious, homemade pies, caramel apples, and lots of other festive foods. Linvilla is a great destination for people of all ages.  There’s always something to do at Linvilla Orchards. There are so many fun places to go with friends in the fall!
