Luciana Talley is a freshman at Padua Academy. Before coming to Padua, she attended middle school at Christ the Teacher. She took Journalism because she thought it would be a fun class and enjoys writing. She said she is excited to see what the class can accomplish this coming year.
Luciana is 14 years old and enjoys going to the beach and shopping at the Christiana Mall in her free time. She does not have any siblings, but has three dogs, Maverick, Goose, and Finn, to keep her company.
This year, Luciana tried out for volleyball and made the freshman team. Luciana has a love for volleyball and really enjoys playing.
“I’ve been playing volleyball for five years now,” she said. “I also play for Premier Volleyball Club.”
Luciana’s favorite subject is history and is currently taking World Civilizations. Her least favorite subject in school is math because she doesn’t enjoy it and it is hard.
Her favorite place that she has traveled to is Miami.
“I went to Miami, Florida, and I really liked it there,” Luciana said. “I would say either that or South Carolina.”
Although she said she loves a lot of different foods, her favorite would have to be tater tots.
Her favorite show is American Horror Story.
A quote that inspires Luciana is “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” She said that the quote will push her to always do her best as she continues her journey throughout high school.
“It’s going to really encourage me to do better here at Padua and make goals for myself,” she said.
