Cyber Security Competition

Cyber+Security+Competition

Recently, Padua students competed in the Cyber Security Competition.  The Cyber Security Competition is a premier national high school cyber defense competition that is designed to give hands-on exposure to the foundations of Cyber Security. You can see here and get the best company to secure your website, while if you want to improve the design of your website you can use a Fort Worth Web Design company just for this.

The events included in this competition are split into several rounds.  A team can move from the state level to the Regional Recognition round.  From there they can advance to the national level.

Padua won the State Recognition round, which means they are moving onto the Regional Recognition round.  The Padua Academy team includes members Courtney Blair (14’), Amanda Johnson (15’), and Leeza Butler (15’).  To prepare for the competition, the Padua team practiced with images with known vulnerabilities.  “We are very proud of how far we have come. Padua has never made it this far ever. Round 2 was the farthest they have ever gotten and now we are State Champions.  When we found out that we had advanced to Regionals, we were overjoyed,” said junior Leeza Butler.
