Padua Takes On The Big Apple

On March 29th, Padua took part in their 30th annual New York City Theater Trip. Not only were current students and teachers present, but Padua alumni also came on the trip. This outing is organized by Mrs. Holladay and Mrs. Markham. Those who attended  had an option to either see Bullets Over Broadway or Wicked. The trip also included a delicious lunch at Sardi’s.

This year was Ms. Sophrin’s first time seeing Wicked on Broadway. She says, “I have wanted to see Wicked for 10 years! I was absolutely amazed. The cast was unbelieveable and the sets were fantastic.” Wicked is known to be one of Broadway’s best plays and is advertised everywhere. However, this was not the only part of the attendees memorable experience.

The group also went to the restaurant Sardi’s, which has excellent reviews. Mrs. Holladay explains, “Sardi’s is a wonderful restaurant and offered us a delicious menu and exceptional service.” The girls really enjoy going on this trip each year and look forward to going next year.
