Just the Beginning

Just+the+Beginning

From nervous freshmen to ready to-be sophomores, the class for 2017 is just getting settled into Padua. Some of the activities the freshman class participated to ease into their first year are meeting every Tuesday in July, going to Sandy Hill, and the Blast off program. Freshman Madison Heitz said, “At the beginning of the year, I felt excited and nervous all at the same time. I wanted to make friends as soon as possible and just have fun at Padua. I was really scared for the academic part of it because everyone said it was really hard. But now, I feel a lot more comfortable, welcomed, and ready for next year with academics and with getting around the school. I have made a lot of friends that I absolutely love and have learned lessons which have helped me to become more of a mature person.” Many of the freshmen agree that they have definitely become more comfortable.

Since the beginning of the 2013 school year, the freshmen have been trying to show everyone who they are. The freshmen have been getting to know the school and everyone in it. Many of the Freshmen have been creating friendships and memories with all the different classes, especially with the seniors. The freshmen and seniors have created a special bond while participating in the Big-Sister, Little- Sister events. From having pool parties to slumber parties they have been non-stop laughing and smiling. The freshmen appreciate how the seniors have helped them through their freshmen year.
