On Thursday, September 11, Padua held the annual back to school night for parents. Many parents came to Padua for the orientation where the parents met with their daughter’s teachers and received an overview of the classes. Mrs. Campbell, a chemistry and Algebra I teacher, felt confident about presenting to the parents:  “I feel I know what to tell the parents from previous years’ experience.” When Thursday night rolled around, Padua was filled with returning parents and new parents trying to navigate their way around the school. Hannah Apostolico’s (‘17) mother, Helen Apostolico, said the night was well organized for and went smoothly. “All the teachers were very knowledgeable. They were all prepared with handouts and have a great overview of what they were teaching, how they think, and how they grade,” Helen explained, “The cookies and coffee were a great touch as well.” With back to school night over, the school year has officially begun and both parents and teachers are on the same page and ready to take on the 2014-15 school year.
