The Seniors surprised their lil’ sisters with lockers that were more than ordinary.  A common tradition at Padua was fulfilled on Friday when the Senior Big sisters surprised their Lil’ sisters with decorated lockers inside and out.  Freshmen girls came into school excited to find wrapping paper, candy, balloons, presents and more covering their lockers.  The surprise of coming to school on a regular morning to find an alley or a hallway filled with such color was something unforgettable.

It may just be a simple gesture to other high schools, but to Padua freshmen the decorations keeps school tradition and spirit alive.  Girls continue to leave their locker decorations up because they love the look and the way the decorations represent how thoughtful their big sisters are.  Some big sisters put more detail into their Lil’ sisters’ lockers, but overall everybody’s locker looked amazing and brought joy to all freshmen.  Padua freshman girls continue to talk about and take pictures of their lockers, sometimes with their big sisters.  A Padua Freshman, Cori Perazza, tell us, “I thought it was amazing to walk in and see my locker decorated with everything I love.  I told my Big sister I loved Five Seconds of Summer and she decorated my locker just with Five Seconds of Summer, and I was also given a cup.”
