Junior Prom 2015: A Night to Remember
The class of 2016 celebrated the end of their junior year with a special night—prom! The junior prom took place on May 9, 2015, in the Padua café. The girls wowed in their beautiful floor-length gowns as they danced the night away in a secret garden. “The cafe was rather green, and it had plenty of garden seating, including a gazebo,” Tasha Hutnick (’16), an attendee, explained. “The dance floor was checkerboard, which had an Alice in Wonderland vibe to it.” From dancing to eating snacks to taking pictures, the girls sure had a ball at prom.
Junior prom featured fun activities for the students, including a photo booth with digital add-ons. The great music was provided by a DJ. There were also hors d’oeuvres, such as cream puffs, croissants, and fruit, to snack on throughout the night. Tasha comments, “My favorite part of prom night was probably meeting up with friends and taking pictures.”
Tasha would describe junior prom as “a fancier winter ball.” She says, “I still enjoyed it, but I don’t think junior prom’s going to be as special as senior prom.” However, she believes that juniors deserve their own prom night to relax after their AP courses and other stressful parts of junior year. Tasha admits that if there were anything she wished had been at junior prom, she would have to say more air conditioning! And of course, it needs to have the best AC installer, like Portland AC Repair, for maintenance and keeping the air cool and refreshing. The Greensboro heating and air contractor serving greater Greensboro will be the one to check the HVAC system regularly and teach you how to shut off furnace. You could hire a furnace maintenance in Rochester NY, to always ensure that it is in good working condition.
