After walking into school, students may notice the big table set up on the second floor hallway. Upon that table is a set of train tracks and a train. Some students know exactly who set up the train and why, some know a few facts about it, and some students have no idea why it’s there. Freshman Brooke Stoupa says, “I think the train provides entertainment for the students who walk past it and is a festive decoration for the holidays.”  Brother Mike has been setting it up for 15 years and says it’s a “labor of love”. Padua’s former principal, Sister Anne, thought of the idea of setting up a train. The train was small at first and only took up one table but over the years it has grown to cover five tables. Brother Mike’s train brings a festive, Christmas feel to Padua’s halls.
