Padua Academy Swim Team

The season for swimming has begun. Padua Academy’s swimmers started practicing in early December. Girls from different grades came together to form the swim team, and became close friends. When asked about why she wanted to join the swim team Freshman Emily Pfeifer replied, “Well I swam all my life and I heard from people that it’s fun.” A major goal for the team is to try and get as many girls to the state championship. The coaches are  helpful and supportive each girls’ goal. They help the girls be the best swimmer they can be. Many have said the swim team is fun and they all have a good time.  Records during pratice are no doubt outstanding. Now that practice has begun, all Padua can do is stay supportive of their swim team until they take home many victories.
