As the school year comes to a close, so do spring sports, like lacrosse. This was only the second year Padua has had a lacrosse program and it was the first year that lacrosse had a Varsity team. The Padua lacrosse team had a good season, but, unfortunately, they did not make it into playoffs. The lacrosse team had some tough games since it was their first time playing in the Varsity league.

The team knew what they had to improve on after each game. Cate Zwiercan,(‘17) said,“We really came together as a team and worked really well together.” Even though the team did not make the playoffs, they still had many other victories throughout the season. Coach Harmon says, “We finished up the season with a .500 record and a sophomore player who ranked 12th in the state for goals scored.”
