Over the weekend of March 28, the Padua Players put on three showings of their comedy production called Padua Night Live. The Padua Players are comprised of both Padua and Sallies drama students. The students worked very hard on their shows and Junior Katie M. noted that the show “was really funny and ran very smoothly.” Katie said that the performers were great and that they were very clever in making up their skits.

Each show featured student written sketches as well as professional sketches. In addition to this, they also performed commercials that had been written, edited, and directed by students. The hard work that had been put into the shows shone through the player’s final performances. Many people who attended the show walked away with some favorite scenes. “My favorite part of the show was the newscast update, just like the one on SNL,” Katie said. The Padua Players did a great job and everyone who attended greatly enjoyed attending the shows.
