One of the drawings I started in quarantine. In the coming days I hope to work on more sketches and use different types of paint on the drawings.

Drawing – Last weekend I went to Walmart to buy drawing supplies, like a sketchbook and paint. Since then, I’ve been trying to learn how to become a better artist. I’ve drawn inspiration from TikTok, where other people are learning how to draw as well, Google searches, and Pinterest. So far I’ve used watercolor, but I hope to experiment with other paints as well.

Writing – One good thing about quarantine is that it has given me more time to write, which I don’t usually have. I enjoy writing and now I have more time to do it and improve in it, which is great. I hope to finish at least one story by the time self-quarantine is over.

Cooking – I’ve never really liked cooking, ever since I was little, but now that I’m trying it more, I realize it’s not that bad. So far I have learned to make dumplings, baked mac and cheese, and rice, tofu, and steamed vegetables. I think cooking for myself encourages me to eat healthier and really think about what I am eating day-to-day. In the coming days I hope to practice more baking as well.
