It wasn’t too long ago that everyone signed up for activities that they wanted to be a part of at the activity fair. Now the activity periods are beginning. The first group is Activity A on Oct, 12th, then Activity B starts the following week. Students signed up for various activities, like Academic Bowl, Blue Gold Committee, Improv It, Learning Chinese, The Beatles and their music, and Ronald’s Rescue, just to name a few. There were over 40 activities to choose from for almost everyone’s interests.
Now that the activities are finally starting, we are starting to feel a little more excited about it. Marguerite Beane, a freshman at Padua Academy, says, “I am really excited to start the activities. They are a really good idea to have during the school day because it gives us something to look forward to, gives us a break from work, and some of the activities are really rewarding.” The students who take part in sports after school have a chance to be a part of an activity that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to participate in.
No matter what activity you chose to be a part of, it will be a great way to relieve stress and just take a break from the essay you have to write, or the really hard math homework, or anything you have to do. Overall, the activities are a great way to get involved, make new friends, and just relax and have fun.
