Closing Liturgy 2018

On Friday, May 18, 2018, Padua Academy had their last mass of the school year. During this time, the Padua Community gathers for “Closing Liturgy” and also says goodbye to the senior class. This is a tradition commonly called “White Dress Day” because all of the seniors wear white dresses on their last day of school. After liturgy, the Padua community stayed in the cafe for a little longer to move seats into the proper section. Since the seniors were leaving, juniors moved into their seats, sophomores moved into the juniors seats, and freshmen moved into the sophomores seats. The freshmen section remained open. The seniors circled around the Padua community and sang “We Are One Body” to close off the ceremony. The Padua Community wishes the best of luck to the graduating seniors as they move on to a new chapter in their lives.
