Don’t Be Afraid to Show Who You Are:
Self image is an ongoing topic involving teens. Teens should be comfortable showing their real personality around other people. They should not be a different person just for people to like them and to be their friends. Teens show people another personality so that people will like them. Showing a completely different personality to other people is lying to those people because you are telling them lies that are not true. Those people that are supposedly your friends will be truly hurt because you are making them think that they know you but they really do not. When you realize that you want to show them who you are they will not want to believe anything you tell them, they would not even want you to talk to them. To avoid all of those problems with the people that were your “friends” you should just show them who you really are, your real personality, and show them the real you not the fake you.
Realizing You Are Perfect the Way You Are:
Teens come to realize that they are perfect the way they are when they learn their lesson on not to make up-a fake personality or person just to make new friends. The problem with teens is that they are so caught up with making friends that seem to be popular, they try to be someone that they are not. Although teens suffer the consequences by losing those new “friends” they seem to open their eyes the next time they want to make new friends and meet new people. Teens just make mistakes and learn from them. Teens should be proud with the way they really are and should not be ashamed of themselves.
