The perfect diet starts with controlling when and how much you eat. Many researchers have said that people who eat a well rounded breakfast tend to burn more calories at the end of the day. They also say that people who skip breakfast eat more in the afternoon or the night, which increases calories. It is important for your body to have food in the morning because it needs the energy to function well during the day. Since your body uses most of its energy while you are sleeping, you need to take in some nutrients in the morning. When you are eating you should be aware of how much you eat and when you eat. Some foods that can help with this little diet are lemons, dark chocolate, are even avocados. These foods contain more than fiber, antioxidants, and vitamin C.

Maintaining a steady, healthy diet is harder than it seems. Anastasia Hutnick ’16, said, “If I had to adjust I would, but it would probably be difficult. I guess I could do the portions, but the timing would be interesting… I can be kinda busy, so I don’t know if I could always stick to the times. I also snack a lot. I’d do it if I had to, but I’m not entirely confident in my abilities.” For some people this might be a bit of a challenge, but for others it can be a fun task. However all that matters is to be active, stay in shape, and eat healthily.
