This past week, the SADD/YELL group at Padua Academy and Salesianum had a fundraiser. Students from both schools were able to send candy grams to each other. The student received a red flower and a card with the slogan “Hugs not Drugs” written across the front.  Students at Padua also sent candy grams over to Salesianum with the same thing. The candy grams were scheduled to arrive on Valentine’s day, but with the recent snow days students could not receive their flower until Tuesday. Despite the delay, Padua Students still loved the flowers they received from their friends over at Salesianum. Student Sarah B. says “I loved my flower and I loved this entire experience it was all really nice.” On Thursday the 20th students at Salesianum will be receiving the candy grams that Padua students sent over to them. Chloe S. says, “I had a fun time writing candy grams to my friends at salesianum, they were funny and random and tons of fun to create.”
