On Sunday May 11, many Padua students celebrated Mother’s Day with their moms. They shared gifts, flowers, cards, and many hugs with their moms, but the most important thing they did was show how much they appreciated their mothers.

Padua freshman, Lyndsay Ryan, shared some details about how she enjoyed her Mother’s Day. “I got her a gift, a card, and flowers. Also, my whole family went to dinner,” she states. Lyndsay explained how every year she makes her mom a homemade Mother’s Day and she writes some reasons on why she appreciates her mom and thanks her for everything she does.

Padua was selling roses to the students during the week and they were available for pickup on at the end of the week. This was an easy way for students to purchase something special to give to their moms for this special day.
