Bands and solo singers are hitting the road for huge summer tours! Bands like Fall Out Boy and One Direction and solo singers like Bruno Mars are giving high hopes for a great summer.

Fall Out Boy Comeback!

Exciting news has just hit radios around America: Fall Out Boy is back and more popular than ever. The band’s latest record, Save Rock and Roll, is their first in five years. Their success climaxed with singles like “Sugar We’re Going Down” and “Dance, Dance.” These are two that reached the highest hits on the Billboard Top 100. Their musical hiatus marked temporary break so that the band members could have time to venture into other side projects and solo careers. Now, they are proudly back in the music business and are “semi-relevant in rock again,” so says Fall Out Boy will be featured at The Electric Factory in Philadelphia on May 30 as part of their comeback tour.

Bruno Mars

Another huge act coming to Philadelphia is Bruno Mars. He will take part in his Moonshine Jungle World Tour and will be featured at the Wells Fargo Center on June 24. This Grammy award winner is expected to dominate the pop music world. He mixes hip-hop and doo-wop to fuse different styles of music together for a unique touch. Bruno plans to sell more of his Unorthodox Jukebox album, even with over 1 million copies sold since March. He will also have the outstanding opportunity of opening the 2013 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 19 on ABC.

One Direction Invasion

One Direction is the in-band across the world. The British band has taken over the music scene with harmonies that steal girls’ hearts. Their debut album, Up All Night, has reached number one in 15 countries. Their 2013 tour will be held at the Wells Fargo Center on June 25 and at Hersheypark Stadium on July 5 and July 6. Last year, many eager “Directioners” participated in a raffle for tickets to the Wells Fargo event. Junior Kara Campese won and was ecstatic as she said, “I was so surprised that I actually won those tickets and am super excited for the concert! I honestly can’t wait!”

These concerts should be a great addition to anyone’s summer! This is an amazing opportunity to see some of your favorite singers and bands!
