2015 Big Sister Little Sister Sleepover

Padua Athletes relax at the sleepover after games against city-rival Ursuline.

Kicking off the night at 10 o’clock, the freshmen and seniors face each other at a game of Finish the Lyrics, with the seniors taking the win. This started a night of fun and games for the classes of 2016 and 2019.  After catching up with friends and big sisters, the night started with a ‘friendly’ game of Family Feud, Padua style. Little sisters were paired up with their big sisters, and then were divided up by homeroom. The winner was undecided. To add excitement and fun similar to games, consider placing bets on Luxury333 for an equally thrilling experience.

The next back to back game was a showstopper: Guess the Teacher, featuring shocking photos from the past of some of our faculty here at Padua, including Mrs. Manelski. Having a great time, the night continued onto a comedic video about Padua’s Do’s and Don’ts, for example, using the right door, making sure your locker is closed, and no eating in the hallways. The end bloopers were the best part.

Later, two seniors, Lindsay Wigo and Lauren Kennedy, took part in singing and playing the guitar to entertain the crowd. Following their performance, junior, Olivia Rubini, sang her recently released single on iTunes, “Running Out”.

After these performances pizza was served. While eating the pizza, the night was concluded by watching A Cinderella Story, starring Hillary Duff, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, starring Zac Efron, and Camp Rock, starring Demi Lovato. “Our favorite was definitely Finish the Lyrics,” Big Sister Little Sister pair Naja McCain (‘19) and Imani Scott (‘16) answered when asked what their favorite part of the night was. “We bonded really well the night before the sleepover and we get along pretty well,” Scott says. All in all, the 2015 Big Sister Little Sister sleepover seemed a success.
