SooperdooperFun at Hersheypark
There are many theme parks to visit this summer, but one of the favorable places to go is Hersheypark. Hershey is located in Hershey, PA and has so many attractions for the whole family. There are many different types of roller coasters to ride, such as inverted, racing, and even a water park with various water attractions. In my opinion, Hershey is definitely one of the best theme parks to go to. Even if you don’t like the amusement park, you could always go to the zoo nearby or the Hershey factory.
Hershey is known for it’s various roller coasters. One of my favorite roller coasters is the “Fahrenheit,” a high-thrilled, “number five” roller coaster that has a 121 feet and 97 degree drop. For people that don’t like such aggressive roller coasters, there is also the “Wildcat,” a wooden roller coaster that circuits at the speed of 45 miles per hour. I really enjoyed the “Wildcat” because I really enjoy wooden roller coasters. One more roller coaster that is popular at Hershey is the “sooperdooperLooper,” which is full of loops and turns. The “sooperdooperLooper” is one of the first looping roller coasters of the east coast. All of the roller coasters and attractions at Hershey are high-thrilled and full of excitement.
When planning out your summer plans, I would highly recommend Hershey. Hailea Stockburger (‘18) has also been to Hershey, and says “I went to Hershey last year and loved it. They have a really awesome water park and something really cool that basically blow dries your whole body!” Hersheypark is also close to the Hershey Factory, which is a really fun trip! The factory is close enough to walk there from the park and is fun for the whole family.
