In sports, teams are frequently down by 10 points, but they end up coming back and winning. Their energy is always up, even though they are losing.  At Padua, the volleyball team is one big family. The fans are always there cheering them on, and they always come together as a team.  When asked about the Padua Family, senior Sarah Cushing stated, “When one of my teammates gets a point, and we all come together in the middle of the court, with our fans cheering, it makes us feel like a big family, and that always inspires us to keep our energy up during the game.”  With this energy the team won the title of State Champions.  In the state championship, Padua played Ursuline, resulting in the best out of five games. Ursuline won the first game, Padua won the second, Ursuline won the third, and Padua won the fourth and fifth.  During this game, the whole student body started to sing “We are One Body.” This showed the true support of the fans and the Padua Family.

They are keeping up their energy this year as well and are currently undefeated.  Senior Ashley Muschiatti said, “When our team is down, we focus on being positive, and our desire to be the best we can be and reach our fullest potential.  Our fans really inspire us to pull out a win for them with how energetic they are.  They inspire us to pick ourselves up and move forward.”  The fans really play an important role in the success of the volleyball teams.  Their cheering is very helpful, and they are always encouraging everyone on the team.

I love PAVB, because we are all one family

— Ally Jennings

When senior Ally Jennings was asked about Padua Volleyball, and why she loved it, she stated, “I love PAVB, because we are all one family, our team is so close, and we are such good friends. Because we have this close bond, we play really well together as a team.”  The team is always there for eachother, and always pushing each other to do better.  The girls at Padua really are one big family.  They have their sisters on the court, and their other sisters cheering for them on the sidelines.
