Padua Tennis Team
On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, the Padua Academy Tennis team practices at the school muga tennis court until 5 p.m. The team competes in games against other schools in Delaware like Concord and Charter. They also have scrimmages against the different schools. This is only the second year that Padua has had a tennis team. Most of the girls play the game in doubles but juniors Gabby Kowalski and Isabel DiGiovanni play in singles. With only twelve people on the team, the Padua tennis team is doing a great job with their season. “Its my first year on the team, and I was nervous at first but I have been having so much fun and I’m glad I joined the team,” says sophomore Yuriksi Ayala. The team is doing great for only it’s second year. Keep it up Pandas!
