On Friday, October 3, 2014 the Padua Academy Field Hockey teams played thier homecoming game against one of their biggest rivals, The Charter School, at Forbes Field. Two  Padua players, from varsity, Sam Haines (‘15)  and Molly Bobjack (‘16) both scored a goal for the Pandas during the varsity game. Despite their great efforts, Padua took their first loss of theseason, 2-3.  The Padua Academy Junior Varsity played an equally matched game with many points almost scored, ending with a finalized score of 0-0.  In the last 50 seconds, freshman, Gabriella Frabizzio (‘18) and the team came close to scoring a last second goal.

At both games there was a great representation from the Padua Academy Volleyball Team and many other students.  Following the Junior Varsity game was the annual Field Hockey Tailgate, wher Padua students, family, and friends, all ate and mingled. Reagan Winter, a freshman from the field hockey team said, “The tailgate was really fun, there was plenty of food and everyone seemed to being having a good time.” Even though the Panda’s lost a game, Homecoming 2014 was still a great success.
