Padua’s Future Building Changes

Paduas Future Building Changes
Padua Academy students should be expecting many changes to the school within the next two years such as the addition of new furniture. In fact, you can look these up online to get a better view of the items. Mrs. Mann loves Padua Academy, and wants the best for the girls.  She has plans for security, athletics, and academics; and she has been working with architects for the past year to make her ideas come to life.
Security is a major focal point for our school.  After the assault that occurred a few weeks ago in the city of Wilmington, Mrs. Mann has been even more concerned for her students’ safety.  The plans for security are going to be carried out this school year and during the upcoming summer.  Security cameras are going to be placed inside and outside of the school to monitor all activity happening around the school and ensure safety.  Motion detectors and an alarm system are also in the plans for security, as well as Columbine Locks. Columbine Locks are going to be placed in each classroom in case of an emergency where the teacher has to lock their students in the classroom to keep them from danger.  These security changes will be paid for through a $40,000 grant.  Padua Academy will also have lock-down systems if necessary, which would cost $24,000.
During this upcoming summer, Mrs. Mann plans to redo some parts of the school.  The gym is a focus for renovation. This includes refinishing the gym floor and redoing the lines. A new construction hvac system and a couple of exhaust fans will also be put into the gym with the help of professional hvac system services that do AC repair like this AC repair in Murfreesboro, TN. Along with this, an air conditioning repair with the help of experts in hvac services experts like these HVAC services in Decatur, GA that have undergone hvac training, will also be needed for the existing hvac systems to take out the heat during hot months.  The cost for the gym floor will be $15,000 and an additional $7,000 for the fans.  Mrs. Mann is also adding a sound system to the gym, the Cafetorium, and Roberto Hall. sometime during this school year.  The cost will be paid with a $65,000 grant.  Not only will student space be redone, but the main office will undergo changes too.  This summer, the office will be completely refurbished and when it will soon need some maintenance. We will also be resupplying the office with new signage stand singapore – LTC Office Supplies.
The space will have new carpets, paint, and furniture. Read this blog by Dan Dan The Carpet Man to learn about some scenarios where it’s best to hire a carpet cleaner. The amount to redo the office will be between $25,000 and $30,000.
All of these plans are set, but Mrs. Mann also has a few ideas still in the process.  In future years,  Mrs. Mann hopes to renovate the floor of Roberto Hall.  The Hall is a great space, but is not used as much as Mrs. Mann would like.  She wants to create a flat surface for the floor, leaving a better design plan for more seating.  The stage would stay, but lecture seats would be added with more space for computers and laptops.  Along with a slight change to Roberto Hall, the library would have a much larger renovation.  Mrs. Mann wants to move the guidance office to the library balcony, where the Mac lab is now.  The spiral staircases would be removed, giving more space for offices and rooms. For a space-saving and quality staircase, installing metal staircases is a fantastic idea. You may consult professional companies like Bespoke Staircase UK for more staircase design options. Visit Certified Staircases website to explore various staircase designs and draw inspiration from them.
The guidance office would have four rooms instead of three, for an additional guidance counselor.  A conference room would be added where students could meet with college representatives.  On the lower level of the library, docking stations would be put along the sides of the walls and there would be a new office for the librarian.  Mrs. Mann wants to also hire a Academic Dean to help students with scheduling.  This new Dean’s office would be in the library.  The plans for the library would happen within the next two to four years.  The total cost for Roberto Hall and the library would be around $1.3 million.  Mrs. Mann also hopes to renovate the convent.  This is just a wish Mrs. Mann has since the cost would be about $4,000,000.
Mrs. Mann has many dreams for Padua.  She states that she is doing all of this to give the students a better education: a 21st century education.  Mrs. Mann wants to give the girls more of a college environment to prepare them for what they will be experiencing within the next couple of years.  She is planning to make Padua Academy more tech savvy with more room for computers.  Mrs. Mann wants to make Padua an enjoyable, helpful, and safe experience for the students’ education through her future plans.
