The Padua community, wearing their Santa hats and other Christmas clothes for the last winter dress down day, paused to remember the true meaning of Christmas. In a prayer service involving seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen, participants read parts of the Christmas story from the perspective of those who were there: Mary, Joseph, Gabriel, the wise men, and the shepherds. As the nativity scene slowly formed on stage throughout the progression of the service, the community joined the music ministry in songs remembering the birth of Christ.
