Hair Colors

Hair+Colors

Each and every person is an individual person with their own unique way of expressing themselves. Some do it by drawing, painting, picture taking, and even changing their own personal style to stand out. Since summer started anyone could see girls were changing their styles, especially their hair color. Some dying their hair natural colors, like blonde and brown, but then, some going to exotic colors, like blue and green. For temporary purposes one could also get Hairgets extensions that look very real because it is made from real human hair.

Knowing that girls around Padua have dyed their hair I asked what was their inspiration was to do it.  Lindsey Block (‘15), who went for the natural blonde to brown,  said, “I dyed my hair as explained here because I was originally blonde for all my life and I just grew tired of seeing the same color. I thought that I needed a change and a natural brown color was just what I was looking for.”

Not all girls are looking for that natural color though. For example, Michelle Krzywicki (’17) dyed her hair bright blue this past summer. She explained, “The reason for this change was simple really. I just always loved the color blue and for as long as I can remember I always wanted to dye it, so I did.”

As the school year came around, the fun had to end and the girls had to go back to their natural hair color. However, that did not mean that they couldn’t stand out as an individual. In fact, they can wear hair ties like those on https://www.silkpillowcase.co.uk/collections/silk-scrunchies. Summer will be back and so will the colors, but for now sticking to natural hair colors is best style for a student this year.
