On September 19, 2014, the new apple iPhone 6 was finally released. Persuading people to form lines around blocks at Apple stores across America. The company’s goal was to bring the generation of the iPhone to the next level.

Compared to other iPhones, the size of the 6 definitely different, the 6 is 4.7 inches, Along with the size, the 5.5 inches for a 6 plus. This may not sound like much but they inevitably larger. The design has changed as well.  The glass screen curves around the sides of the phone now to meet the anodized aluminum enclosure with no gaps, making a smooth, seamless bond of metal and glass. This is also now the lightest iPhone yet. In addition display has also features a new Retina HD and a better Dual‑domain pixels for more accurate color.

Two other appealing features are the improved longevity is battery life, as well as an upgrade to the camera, making it more powerful than ever. The camera now has slow motion and time lapse video features and can capture at 60 frames per second and even 240 frames per second. The wireless has also been updated, resulting to faster LTE downloads and 3x faster Wi-Fi.

When a new iPhone comes out, there are always a few “issues,” as well though. Consumers have been making reports about the device bending when placed in pocket, which is shown in a youtube video where a man can physically bend his iPhone with his bare hands. Which it is important to note that these are just rumors. Caroline Miller (‘18) also notes, “The camera is really nice, but one thing that annoys me is that the back camera pops out of the back.”  Over all the iPhone has managed to keep Apple customers pleased though. Once again,  Apple has been able to make an iPhone with qualities that motivate people to purchase it.
